NATO: North America and The Others
The Cato Institute's blog posted an article titled "NATO: An Alliance Past Its Prime". I thought, "sh*t you say." NATO comprise our best alliances. Being the skeptical, but open-minded person I am, I read the article anyway. It turns out the author makes some very good arguments. We need more leaders that evaluate our diplomatic and military commitments this soberly.

NATO needs to go. Our only essential strategic partners at this point, from a military perspective, are the U.K. and Japan. And Canada. Assuming we haven't annexed them yet, by the time we get around to our next great strategic alliance party.
And Australia.
With you there.
