Brace yourself, it's gonna be a bumpy flight

When Obama wins and Dems pick up filibuster-proof Senate, WSJ shows us what's in store. Not pretty. And you can guarantee that Obama will be raising taxes even higher than he claims now, with a liberal Congress and MSM cheering him on all the way.

Why, why, why didn't Republican voters understand that Mitt would've been a much stronger candidate? That was true even before this economic crisis, but is overwhelmingly true today. I can just imagine him mopping the floor with Obama on economic policy debate.

Wow--I just threw up a little in my mouth...

And this isn't my fault. I voted for Mitt.

Think all the Cold Warriors that have moved beyond this world are rolling over in their graves? They fought tooth and nail to crush the Red Threat and keep capitalism and democracy alive in the world and we're just gonna go Socialist all on our own.

Game, set, and match--Lenin...

It is sickening. For 4 decades after WWII the US had an explicit policy of fighting communism around the world. We were told that the spread of communism was the greatest threat to our country's survival. Tens of thousands of soldiers lost their lives in numerous wars to prevent its spread. And now, we're heading towards socialism.

The only saving grace is that in the past when the prez and Congress has swung far left, it has bit them in the ass for decades afterwards. People in this country are still center-right, but unfortunately apparently every generation won't learn the mistakes of the past and must go through one term of its own ultra-liberal politicians. Then, once they are smacked in the face with how bad liberalism truly is, they promptly revert to 15+ years of Republican rule in Congress and/or presidency. One can only hope that this time they don't inflict so much damage that it can't be undone by Mitt in 2012.
