Global Warming explanation
SHK has heard me drunkenly fumble my way through a Trojan Horse/Vast Left-Wing conspiracy theory about Global Warming alarmists .... here is a WSJ editorial column that explains more coherently this idea. They are in our midsts .... shhhh.

Saw this yesterday, great article. This is my favorite line:
But it raises a useful question: If even slight global cooling remains evidence of global warming, what isn't evidence of global warming?
I had made a similar point a while back, that when you co-opt any and all weather patterns as evidence of global warming, then you're just giving normal weather patterns a different name.
Exactly. The other great part of this column is that you couldn't conceive of another threat that would seem so benign yet demand the need for central control over everyone's lives. And the left wing thinks that religion was created as the opiate of the masses, then what the hell is GW?
This is why the mantra has changed from Global Warming to Climate Change. If we're cooling off, it's easy to rebuke global warming, but climate change is a convenient catch-all.
Oh my goodness, reading that article was sooooooo satisfying.
I need a cigarette.
