New Veep favorability polling numbers

from Rasmussen:

Mike Huckabee 47%/39% - (+8)
Joe Lieberman 46%/39% - (+7)
Tim Pawlenty 22%/21% - (+1)
Bobby Jindal 22%/21% - (+1)
Mitt Romney 42%/48% - (-6%)
Charlie Crist 23%/29% - (-6)

It should be noted that amongst Republicans only, Mitt was in first with 69% favorable, and Huck just behind (basically tied) with 68% faovrable.

Not surprised by any of the numbers I see here, except for Lieberman and Palin. Why the negative feeling towards Palin? I would've expected Pawlenty/Jindal numbers--basically neutral--since she's relatively unknown.

I think the palin numbers turn out that way simply because she's the most unknown. If you look at unfavorable she polls about the same as pawlenty and jindal. it's only in favorable where she is much lower, which is not surprising to me. I think jindal is becoming more well known in conservative circles so he'd get a boost there on the positives, and pawlenty's name has been thrown around a lot more and longer as possible VP candidate so he also gets a boost in favorable.
