Palin vs. Obama

I think we know who wins that battle, but here's the point-by-point.

Simply. Brilliant.

Lindsey Graham really nailed it this morning. When Stephanopolous asked him about Palin's lack of experience, he started to talk about Obama's inexperience. Steph cut him off and said "That's not the question I asked," to which Graham responded "But as a voter I have to make a choice - I'm either voting for McCain/Palin with McCain's experience at the top of the ticket or Obama/Biden with Obama's experience at the top of the ticket. That's no contest."

I just don't get why Dems would even want to engage in the argument they are using now: are you comfortable voting for an old McCain knowing that Palin is one heartbeat away from the presidency? You mean, as opposed to voting for inexperienced Obama who will DIRECTLY be president?? How does that even make sense. If you're comfortable voting for Obama to lead us, how could you be uncomfortable voting for McCain/Palin, in terms of experience? Not to mention, as the clip from Fredo illustrates, she has just as much relevant experience as Obama, perhaps more, and she's only running for VICE-president.

Again, if it were me I'd prefer someone with more experience on the bottom of the ticket, I really hoped it would be Mitt. To be honest, if something happened to McCain and she took over I would definitely be somewhat uncomfortable. But I'm certainly FAR more comfortable with her in charge than Obama, so it's a non-issue.

BTW, if Mrs. SHK's response is any indication, the pick of Palin is really going to put McCain over the top and ride him to victory this fall.

Really. Glad to hear the Mrs. approved. Mrs. Fredo (newly minted Registered Republican) was happy with the pick, and went to glowing as she learned more about Gov. Palin.
