Forget Ted Stevens, John Edwards has admitted to the affair (although he denies fathering the child). Wow, talk about a bad turn of events for Dems, you have one of their frontrunners and party faces admitting to an affair while his wife is suffering from incurable cancer. Well played, John, well played. You certainly win d-bag of the month hands down.

This whole situation ends Edwards' career. Good. He was an effective politican and a severe economic liberal: hence, a menace to our well-being.
That said, its hard to take a lot of glee in the situation. I keep wondering, how would I handle this if I were a MSM newspaper editor? I'd be really inclined to bury the story for Elizabeth's sake. She deserves better.
