What happened in NH I think is in large part summed up as: Hillary's win is Mitt's loss. That is, all the independent voters over the last few days who were leaning towards Obama decided instead at the last minute to vote for McCain, since Obama seemingly had an insurmountable lead in NH. Unfortunately, by making this choice, they ended up giving Hillary a win (and Mitt a loss, or at least a larger loss than he otherwise would have incurred).
I think it should give Republican voters some pause though that the same people who support Obama are also supporting McCain. What does that say about McCain's position on the issues?
Yeah, the "obama will win, I'll throw in with McCain" votes may have killed O! and helped McCain. Thank goodness!
Call me crazy, but I think these open primaries have to go.
And if you think NH was bad, wait till MI. If Protium is even half right, it's going to be a joke.
