Mad Money Update #2!

With three post NH primaries down, here's the standings. The first number is points earned. The second number in brackets represents the projected points if the current leaders in the RCP poll averages win the states they're leading in:

ManBeast 1 [8]
Fredo 1 [3]
Starving Econ Grad 1 [2]
SHK 1 [2]
D.C. 0 [2] - but still ridiculously sexy

Beasty off to a commanding lead on the strength of his quadrupling down on McCain CA and doubling down on McCain-FL. I only wish I'd thought of doubling down on contracts, but I guess that's what makes you engineering/computer/econ guys so smart.

Gratuitous movie quote:
"[Fredo] is intelligent, but not experienced. His pattern indicates two dimensional thinking."

BTW, current poll leaders in remaining races are:

McCain - FL
McCain - CA
McCain - NY
McCain - PA (only one '08 poll)
Giuliani - NJ

Mitt is leading Rasmussen FL poll.

More gratuitous movie quotes:
"That's not the way I wanted it."
"That's the way Pop wanted it!"

And of course, with respect to the polls I'd have to throw out the recently popular: "Call it, friend-o."

Indeed, Mitt is leading Rasmussen poll. As I said, I took the leader according to the RCP averages. But Mitt is the leader in one of the two most recent FL polls, and McCain leads in the most recent NJ poll.

Speaking of No Country, did you see it was nominated for Best Picture!

Definitely would get my vote. What a film! I just saw "There Will be Blood" on Sunday which was just fantastic as well. Both are instant classics, in my warped book.

"Well, we need to know what we're callin' it for here"

No Country and Blood are apparently both going to be racking up the awards. Huge props to Fredo for getting on both of these WAY early before the MSM.

Thanks ;)

If you can only see one, make it No Country.
