Romney wins NV
According to the AP. With one third of caucusers LDS and Mitt the only GOP candidate prioritizing NV over SC, not too much surprise here. A nice hedge on his part if he wasn't going to carry SC.

BTW, I got the 1-in-3 stat from a commenter at R 4 '08, but on CNN, Schneider just said the actual stat for LDS voters in NV was 1 in 4. And they broke 94% for Romney.
Talk about taking care of your own. Show me one other ethnic/religious group that breaks 94% for their own candidate. Amazing.
Also smart because NV has more delegate than SC this year because of penalties. If the GOP race goes to the convention, it's delegates that count.
This win is key for Mitt not because it was unexpected, but because it will keep the MSM off of him when he loses SC from saying he's done. It keeps his momentum going and his name in the press in a positive light.
LDS support for Mitt has been huge from day one. I've read all sorts of stories about the millions of dollars of fundraising they've done for him. They are stoked at the opportunity to have him win, and are putting their all behind it. But, as you say, even still no other group rallies that hard behind their person.
